The DLIS-2K Sensor consists of 4 rows of pixels, each with 2048 optical pixels and 16 dark pixels. Three rows are made up of 4 micron x 4 micron square pixels and the other is a row of 4 micron wide X 32 micron tall pixels. There is a 4 micron space between rows. One to four rows may be selected for readout. Each row has independent control of reset and integration.

ELIS-1024 near IR image sensor consists of an array of high performance, low dark current photo-diode pixels. The sensor features sample and hold capability, selectable resolution and advanced power management. The device can operate at as low as 2.8V making it ideal for portable applications.

A key feature over traditional CCD technology is that the device can be read and reread Non-destructively, allowing the user to maximize signal to noise and dynamic range. The ELIS has on chip Fixed Pattern Noise (FPN) cancellation.

The RPLIS-2K-EX image sensor is an ideal sensor for a broad range of applications requiring wide dynamic range and a large aspect ratio pixel, such as bar code reading, position measurement, laser triangulation, etc. The design incorporates many on-chip features that lower the overall system cost compared to multi-chip systems using CCD’s.

The RPLIS-2K-EX sensor includes full-frame snapshot shutter operation, with adjustable exposure time and programmable gain to handle varying light conditions. The video port has line driving capability further reducing system costs. The output is user selectable as analog video output, or Dynamax® Imaging’s exclusive on-chip Auto Dynamic Thresholding with digital 1 bit comparator output. This circuit pre-processes the video signal by dynamically adjusting the threshold to compensate for lighting and optical variations.

The SLIS-2048 linear image sensor features an array of low dark current photo-diode pixels with performance comparable to that of most CCD’s. The device includes full frame electronic shuttering, allowing simultaneous readout and integration for the highest possible frame rate at a given clock frequency.

Operation is simplified by on-chip logic, which requires only a clock running at two times the desired pixel read rate, and a pulse to initiate read-out. Very high throughput is possible as the imager features a high speed analog video bus to handle all 2K pixels, operating at 60 MHz pixel rate. When operating at maximum line rate, this corresponds to an instantaneous data rate of 60M-Pixel / sec and an average data rate of 56M-Pixel / sec.

The SLIS-2048 is supplied in a ceramic leadless chip carrier package (LCC).

The LIS-770i sensor consists of a row of 784 pixels including 770 optical pixels, 13 reference dark pixels, and 1 dummy pixel. The pixel size is selectable from 7.8x 62.5µm to 7.8x 312.5µm. The whole imaging active area is 312.5µm x 6006µm.
